Integrated Development Approaches Of Self Development

Self-Development believes that its program activities will run in such an integrated way that would cover all major aspects of human social life, ensuring gradual improvement of human, social, and natural resources.

The integrated approaches are intended to:

• Form resource-income-based village groups.

• Increase agricultural technology and crop diversification.

• Build school-going habits among the dropout and non-enrolled children.

• Build awareness about health, hygiene, and sanitation.

• Raise the capacity level of the distressed and underprivileged women.

• Raise the income level of the under-resourced people through various IGA programs.

• Provide training for technical skill development.

• Raise awareness to fight social injustices and prejudices.

• Raise awareness for human and legal rights.

• Motivate and mobilize community people to give and get equal remunerations to women and men, and act on building strong relationships among family members.

• Motivate the local people to properly utilize local-level human and natural resources.

• And above all, raise the social status of the rural poor women and men.
